Wieskirche Church

The Wieskirche is considered one of the most beautiful Rococo churches in Southern Germany. It has been a site of prayer, worship and pilgrimage since it was first built, and also holds a magical fascination for millions of visitors who come to catch a glimpse of the lively and hopeful Baroque atmosphere, which once prompted Peter Doerfler to remark "The Wies is a piece of heaven on this wretched earth".
